I've been having a very similar issue by the sounds, very rarely I might of got a black screen with no display, recently as soon as windows boots the screen goes Now instead of a black screen a single white underscore in the upper left hand corner sits there flashing.. Although only for a while (like 15minutes), then the screen goes randomly black again. http://www.overclockers.com/forums/showthread.php/702931-Black-screen-after-driver-cleaner
CakesokJul 24, 2013, 8:09 PM It turns out any driver after 314.22 is really buggy and drives your graphics card into the ground. So i cant just plug vga to the motherboard. DO NOT RESTART.9. I have no idea why the integrated graphics aren't working...

By the way, when you install it you don't have to bother uninstalling 320.49, the 314.22 installer, and all the others, will do this for you. I'll have to keep an eye on my system closer for a while and see if I experience issues.Strange. shall look when I get home. None of the 2 rails delivers enough for the graphics card. this content I managed to circumvent it past the loading screen, and it now works fine.
The time now is 11:56 PM.
It has onboard VGA, so if you have a CPU that has integrated graphics in it, you're set to try the solution I just described, which solved my issues for me. as I wouldnt be surprised if its also a driver issue. If you end up getting a picture before windows loads, but a black screen after that, you'll want to go into your BIOS. I noticed what motherboard you have, sorry that I missed that earlier. Regardless, I'm still getting a black screen after the "Gateway" logo when the card is installed and the video feed is from the card. Restart Juan Merlos, I wanted to say thank you, these steps worked brilliantly for me. Can you test the card in another system temporarily?
So I did a reformat and fresh install of windows.
